My name is Zsuzsanna Bayer and I’m from Hungary, but I have lived outside of my home country for the last 19 years. I have worked and studied in Madrid, London, Berlin, Sarajevo and Mexico City. I first moved abroad for my undergraduate studies, and I just kept on going. I know first-hand the difficulty that living abroad may present and how adjusting to a new city, language, culture or workplace can take some time. Same goes for intercultural or interfaith relationships (or just relationships in general.)
Before moving to Mexico City in 2014, I worked in marketing, and in the independent film industry. I changed careers in 2015 and I began studying a Master's degree in psychology in combination with a Master's degree in gestalt psychotherapy. I am fascinated by relationships and the bulk of my clients come to see me because of their relationship issues.
In my free time I enjoy writing and I also like to volunteer.
I am very proud to have produced ‘The Vagina Monologues’ at University College London. The funds were raised for an NGO dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence. I'm also pleased with the work we accomplished in Berlin with refugees. Each week, we came together to provide German language lessons - a crucial skill necessary for their everyday lives in the new environment.
